After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology, Laurie spent six years assisting nationally recognized commercial photographers in New York City on a wide variety of advertising assignments.

She then moved to Orange County, where she has operated a commercial photography studio since 1989. Specializing in food, product and still life imagery for advertising, corporate and editorial clients, Laurie’s photographs have been reproduced internationally.

Since 2002, in addition to operating her commercial studio, Laurie has shared her passion for the medium of photography by teaching photography at Santa Monica College, Cypress College, and California State University/Fullerton.  She was honored to become a full-time faculty member of the Photographics Department at Mt. San Antonio College in 2007.
